We celebrate the diverse skills and aptitudes of our children, and maximize the benefits of their learning from and interacting with each other. We understand and respond to the requirements of our children and families in the heart of the East Legon.
“Our Educational Philosophy”
We believe that education is “Beyond classroom”. We offer a breadth and depth of education that goes beyond examination success and transcends into every sphere of life of the child. Intellectual, aesthetic, artistic, physical and musical pursuits enjoy equal emphasis.
We want children to learn moral and Christian values too, that will help them to be happy, passionate and confident individuals.
Within 2 years, we shall have the Upper Secondary school catering for Year 10- 12. In that period, we will aim to:
acquire a location which will span across four storeys featuring a purpose-built student canteen, lecture style classrooms, multiple science laboratories and a beautiful art room.
Secure residential premises for the senior school students
"Every child matters and no child should be left behind."
We believe education must be fostered from within - it stems from connecting not directing.
Eden, The Private School is truly an independent school, with children of various nationalities coming together to form the school. The entire school body together with our parents proudly reflect the shared vision, commitment and energy of 'growth mindset" - ensuring the educational success of every child. With several nationalities represented , on campus, each individual has as an exceptional opportunity to develop an understanding of, and appreciation for, the philosophies understanding of one another.
Eden, a co-educational school has a Nursery, Infant and Junior School at the heart of East Legon, Accra, educating children from the age of 6 months to 13 years of age. Offering continuity of education in the important formative years of a child's life, the school is a vibrant, popular community where children learn the skills as well as values which enables students to develop the tools that will better serve them in later life.
There is a truly remarkable team of educators responsible for Eden's equally remarkable success. The administration and faculty have created and maintain a very special culture that achieves excellence through caring.
Our aim is to ensure that your child is provided with the highest quality of education in a safe and nurturing learning environment. We also believe that it is our responsibility to give every child opportunities. These opportunities are unlocked through the provision of the best possible education in the best possible school.
As I look ahead, Eden’s future is bright. I look outside and I see the sun shining onto the new junior school block, students and teachers together are solving story problems, having debates, and performing science experiments. Down in the infant school section, children are running on the field, others in the art school are painting, while others are role playing.
To that end, we adopted a policy that allows for smaller classes in all round, more opportunities for re-teaching challenging material or providing extra help needed, and more choices for the children to experience our passion-driven learning woven into the fabric of the school.
At Eden, we are always looking for ways to build upon the strong innovative curriculum that allows students to acquire the intellectual, social and physical tools they will need for success in an ever-changing world.
I would encourage you to visit us here so that we can show you in person all that it means to be part of the Eden ‘family’.
I look forward to welcoming you personally.
